How to Book: 1) In the Schedule, click the Date of your Event. 2) Scroll down to Select your Ticket (If you’re booking individual dates rather than a course, repeat steps 1 and 2 till you've selected all the dates and tickets required). 3) Scroll down and click View Selections. This will take you to your basket. Your basket will also show at the top of the schedule once you’ve made a selection.

Pricing Structure

We offer courses at a reduced price, and bulk discounts when booking multiple classes.

Our Tiered Pricing offers 3 tiers Standard, Accessible, or Supported Prices

Individual Class Ticket Prices

Standard Price: £20

Accessible Price: £16

Supported Price: £12

When you book multiple class tickets, there's an automatic sliding scale of bulk discounts. This offers flexibility, and you can mix these up on different nights if you choose to. Note: these are per-term savings. You can't spread them over multiple terms.

12 classes: save 15% | 11: save 14%. | 10: save 13% | 9: save 12% | 8: save 11% | 7: save 10% | 6: save 9% | 5: save 8% | 4: save 7% | 3 save 6% | 2: save 5%

Cancel no less than 7 days before a class for a refund, or transfer to another available class in the term with as little as 7-hours-notice. It's easy to cancel and make transfers yourself by logging into your account. Note, you can only transfer to other classes in the same term.

Course Ticket Prices

Standard Price: £105
equates to £17.50 per class

Accessible Price: £84
equates to £14 per class

Supported Price: £63
equates to £10.50 per class

Course tickets are reduced by 12.5%. Booking a course offers the best overall experience and value for money when you’re sure to be able to attend the whole course of 6 classes or the remaining series of the course which is reduced pro rata.

Cancel no less than 7 days before the course starts for a refund. Skipped classes in a course are non-refundable. If you can't attend regularly, you should book individual class tickets which are more flexible.

In these arduous and uncertain times, our Tiered Pricing aims to make our School of Improv programme more accessible to people who find themselves financially challenged.

WHICH PRICE SHOULD I PAY?

We ask that you’re honest and will consider what you can afford at this time. Think about your situation right now. It might change in the future, and you should reconsider then.

 

Below are examples of what your situation may be to help you decide if you should pay the Standard, Accessible, or Supported Price.

STANDARD PRICE

Here are some examples of why the Standard Price should be appropriate for you . Pay this price if several of these statements are similar to your circumstances.

  •  I am gainfully employed or self-employed

  • I choose not to work

  • I have access to financial savings

  • I am adequately supported by my family or partner

  • I can claim back tax or work allowances on the fees

  • I have income from property or investments

  • I have a reasonable amount of expendable income**

  • I am able to meet all of my basic needs*

  • I may have some debt but it doesn’t prohibit attainment of my basic needs*

ACCESSIBLE PRICE

If the Standard Price is unaffordable for you, here are some examples of why our Accessible Price may be more appropriate for you. Pay this price if several of these statements are similar to your circumstances.

  • ​I am unemployed or underemployed

  • I am self-employed and my income is low, irregular and uncertain

  • I qualify government assistance, e.g. benefits, local welfare schemes.

  • I have dependants and I’m the sole provider of my household

  • I frequently stress about meeting basic needs*

  • I have debt and it sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs*.

  • I have no access to savings

  • I have very limited expendable income*

SUPPORTED PRICE

If the Accessible Price is still unaffordable, we can only subsidise a limited number of Supported Places each term. Pay this price if several of these statements are similar to your circumstances.

  • I am unable to work 

  • I access voluntary assistance

  • I barely afford to meet my basic needs*

  • I am a full-time carer for a family member at home

  • I have very restricted personal income

  • I have barely any expendable income**

  • I am restricted by my family or partner to a small personal allowance

  • I have no recourse to public funds

  • I am a refugee or asylum seeker (or similarly impacted state violence)

  • I rent a lower-end property or have unstable housing

*BASIC NEEDS include essential food, housing, energy, transportation, clothing, education, child care, and health care.

** EXPENDABLE INCOME is what you have spare after covering your after paying all essential living costs, to save or spend on such things as leisure, entertainment, travel, hobbies or treats.
