Bannocks and Blood

An immersive whodunnit written and presented by Ann Cleeves

Anchor 1

On Sunday 5th March 2023 we held our fundraiser event in the Black Swan venue at Newcastle Arts Centre.

The event featured original work, Bannocks and Blood, written and presented by local best-selling author, Ann Cleeves (Vera and Shetland).

The fundraiser was in aid of our crowdfunding campaign and raised £3,200 towards our inclusive creative arts venue capital project.

The audience was captivated by the performances and got to play detective and interview the suspects live onstage before the murderer was revealed.

The success of the event is due to Ann, the support of the venue, and a host of artists and helpers who all freely volunteered their time and services.
